Overview
The Leviton Rhino-Hide 18 Series 18R24-UE is a black, single-pole, ball nose cam-type panel mount receptacle engineered for heavy-duty temporary and semi-permanent power distribution. Built with Santoprene TPV (thermoplastic elastomer) insulation, it delivers superior resistance to UV degradation, chemicals, and physical stress — eliminating the need for vulcanizing during installation. Rated for continuous 400A at 600V AC/DC with a 35kA short-circuit current rating (SCCR), this receptacle is intermateable with competitive cam-type ball nose products and can be retrofitted into existing power distribution systems. Suitable for NEMA 3R rated outdoor use.
