Overview

The Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems HBL2431S is a Twist-Lock® Safety-Shroud® plug rated 20A, 3-Phase 480V AC, 3 Pole 4 Wire Grounding (NEMA L16-20P). Designed for extra heavy-duty industrial applications, it features a protective shroud that reduces the risk of inadvertent blade contact when connecting or disconnecting under load. The plug is made in the USA and complies with OSHA Lockout/Tagout requirements per 29 CFR part 1910.147.

  • Ribbed nylon housing provides secure grip with impact and chemical resistance
  • Superior cord grip design protects terminations from excess strain
  • Integral dust shield protects wiring chamber from dust and contaminants
  • Accepts 0.350–1.150 in. (9–29 mm) cord diameter
  • Compatible with most equivalently-rated NEMA-Locking connectors for Type 1 (indoor) applications
  • Alignment mark on shroud key accepts 3/16 in. padlock shackle for OSHA Lockout/Tagout compliance
  • Can be mechanically interlocked using Hubbell Cat. No. HBLMITL
  • Terminals accept #16 AWG – #8 AWG stranded copper wire only
  • Made in U.S.A.
