The Cooper Lighting ST Series MWS Starter Fitting (Model 27ST12/2G) is the foundation component of the Modular Wiring System (MWS), a low-cost branch circuit wiring solution for lighting and power. The Starter Fitting converts a conventional hardwired junction box into a MWS connection point, enabling downstream fixture cables, extenders, and power distribution modules to plug together in a fraction of the time required by traditional hardwiring. Built with a galvanized steel exterior and rated for 20A at 277V ac, the 27ST12/2G is designed for commercial, industrial, and institutional environments where installation speed and NEC compliance are critical.
