Overview
The Panduit FRME4 Opticom Rack Mount Fiber Enclosure is a 4RU black enclosure designed for medium- to high-density fiber optic network deployments. It accommodates up to 12 Fiber Adapter Panels (FAPs) or Fiber Module Panels (FMPs) and integrates seamlessly into the Panduit Opticom system of patch panels, cassettes, and adapter panels. Its robust steel construction and intuitive snap-in design make it a reliable foundation for data center cross-connect and distribution areas per TIA-942.

- 4 RU rack mount form factor — holds up to 12 FAP or FMP panels
- Compatible with Panduit Opticom Fiber Adapter Panels, MPO cassettes, and multimedia modular panels
- Knockout cable entry points with grommet support for 1″ and 1.5″ innerduct
- Includes saddle clips, grounding lug, port I.D. label, and two enclosure brackets
- Grounding lug attaches to rear stud with #10-32 nut for bonding compliance
- Strain relief clip with #10-32 screw and nut included
- Supports 19″ and 23″ rack mounting configurations
- Black finish for clean integration in standard equipment racks
- Snap-in panel design enables fast moves, adds, and changes without tools
- Compatible with Panduit Opticom Zero RU Fiber Adapter Panel Brackets
