Overview
Southwire SIMpull XHHW-2 copper conductors are engineered for services, feeders, and branch circuit wiring in conduit, cable tray, or other recognized raceways as specified in the National Electrical Code. This 8 AWG, 7-strand green conductor is rated for wet or dry locations at temperatures not to exceed 90°C, with a 600V rating (also 1000V for 8 AWG and larger). The SIMpull technology allows installation without pulling lubricant, saving time and reducing labor costs on the job site. Green insulation designates this conductor for equipment grounding applications.
