The Panduit Opti-Core F92RPU2U2ONF016 is an OS2 singlemode duplex fiber patch cord engineered for high-density structured cabling environments. Featuring a slim 2.0mm cable jacket and LC APC Uniboot pull-boot connectors, this 16 ft. cord delivers superior performance in data centers, enterprise backbones, and telecommunications rooms where space and signal integrity are critical.

Opti-Core Uniboot Design

The Uniboot connector design combines both fibers into a single compact connector body, significantly reducing bend radius and freeing up port space in high-density patch panels and switch ports. The integrated pull-boot allows for easy installation and removal even in tight, congested cable environments — without disturbing adjacent connections.

APC Polish for Minimum Reflectance

Angled Physical Contact (APC) polishing provides a typical return loss of −60 dB or better, making this cord the correct choice for passive optical networks (PON), WDM systems, and other applications that are sensitive to back-reflection. Optimized Insertion Loss (IL) performance is guaranteed by Panduit’s precision manufacturing processes.

Plenum-Rated OFNP Jacket

The OFNP (Optical Fiber Nonconductive Plenum) jacket rating allows installation in air-handling spaces and plenum ceilings in full compliance with NEC Article 770. The low-smoke, flame-retardant jacket meets the most demanding fire codes required for commercial and institutional building deployments.

OS2 Singlemode Performance
