Current Multi-Vapor® Metal Halide BT37 1000W Lamp

The Current Multi-Vapor® MVR1000/U/BT37 is a high-performance 1000-watt quartz metal halide lamp engineered for demanding commercial and industrial lighting applications. With a BT37 bulb shape and Mogul Screw (E39) base, this lamp delivers exceptional lumen output and long service life in enclosed fixtures such as high-bay fixtures, sports lighting, and large-area outdoor luminaires.

Key Features

  • 1000W quartz metal halide lamp with BT37 bulb shape
  • Mogul Screw (E39) base for standard HID fixture compatibility
  • 3700K color temperature for natural, high-quality white light
  • 115,000 initial lumens / 90,000 mean lumens for powerful illumination
  • Mean lumens rated at 82,000 for sustained output over lamp life
  • 9,000-hour rated life for reduced maintenance intervals
  • Universal (U) operating position — base up, base down, or horizontal
  • CRI 65 for acceptable color rendering in industrial and commercial environments
  • Light center length: 7 inches
  • ANSI Ballast Type M47 — must be used with a compatible M47 ballast
  • For use in enclosed fixtures only
  • Packaged 6 per case

Applications

Designed for high-bay industrial facilities, warehouses, gymnasiums, sports arenas, parking structures, and large commercial spaces requiring high-output metal halide illumination. Ideal for retrofit or new construction in installations already wired for M47-ballast HID fixtures.

Safety & Compliance

This lamp must be operated in enclosed fixtures only, per ANSI M47 requirements. Do not use beyond rated life — beyond rated life, light output diminishes while energy consumption and risk of lamp rupture increases. Turn lamp off at least once for 15 minutes per week. Allow lamp to cool before handling. Wear safety glasses and gloves when handling. Dispose of lamp in a closed container per applicable regulations.
