The Pass & Seymour TR5262WSP is an Extra Heavy-Duty Tamper-Resistant Surge Protective Duplex Receptacle designed for residential and commercial applications. This 15A, 125VAC, NEMA 5-15R outlet combines tamper-resistant shutters with built-in surge suppression rated at 340 joules and 24kA maximum surge capability — providing both personnel protection and connected equipment protection in a single device. The unit features an LED status indicator (steady green = protected, flashing red = not protected) and an audible alarm that activates when surge protection is compromised, so facilities managers and electricians can identify failed units without removing cover plates.
